About: It’s finally here! My Behringer Deepmind (12/6/12D) preset pack, and what a pack it became… The Deepmind is a lot of fun to work with and is a crazy sound design synthesizer but it’s also capable of doing just classic sounds with a Roland Juno esque spirit… I don’t go into these directions too much and tried to push the envelope a bit on the Deepmind to get slick sequences going, make vivid pads/leads and dubby sounds. The pack is quite cross genre but flirts with classic techno and idm spirits. It’s packed with solid presets that go further than a bunch of brassy bread and butter sounds. Expect proper Pads, Bass, Dub Techno Chords and tons of Sound Effects.
With all the Behringer opinions out there I thought it was time to investigate a synth and turn it inside out.. I have to say the Deepmind 12 is one of the better (if not only real) engineered synthesizers they produced. It’s easy a versatile synthesiser that allows you to make a wide variety of different timbres. The internal effects are great, the filter decent, envelopes fast enough for snap! And the Deepmind can sound very LUSH and diverse! I even managed to make some self generative presets. The pack contains enough romantic lush sounds too! There is also a very dreamy part in the pack with nice evolving pads and atmospheric sounds. All in all it’s very lush and sparkling!
The presets (110) are compatible with the Deepmind 12/6&12D.
